Every Beni Ourain is the story art, of resourceful creativity, and, above all, beauty from the humblest of circumstances. Handwoven by the women of the Beni Ourain tribe of Morocco, Beni Ourain rugs have been woven for centuries in the Atlas Mountains. Traditional motifs are black or brown lines in abstract patterns, but weavers draw from their personal experiences, as well. All are one of a kind creations that tell an individual story by the weaver. We love beni ourains for their stories, simple beauty and the luxurious feel they add to the modern home. It is not by accident that Frank Lloyd Wright filled his masterpiece “Fallingwater” with Moroccan rugs. These are the rugs you keep for a lifetime.
